At Rolling Fitness, we’re not just teaching kids Jiu-Jitsu — we’re supporting them to grow into confident, respectful, and resilient humans. We understand how much you care about your child’s wellbeing, and we take that seriously. Every class is designed to build body awareness, emotional regulation, and real-life skills in a way that’s fun, safe, and age-appropriate. Whether your child is shy, full of energy, or somewhere in between — we meet them where they’re at and help them thrive.

Jiu-Jitsu is more than just a sport — it’s a powerful tool for growth. At Rolling Fitness, we use it to help kids build confidence, awareness, and resilience from the inside out. Every class is an opportunity for them to explore their strength, learn about respect, and develop real-world skills in a supportive space.
- Confidence that comes from mastering something hard
- Tools to manage emotions and stay calm under pressure
- Real-life problem solving and quick decision-making
- Respect for themselves, others, and their environment
- Awareness of personal space and how to navigate challenges safely
- The ability to lose with grace and win with humility
- A supportive community where they feel seen and valued
- The strength to stand their ground — without aggression
Jiu-Jitsu meets kids exactly where they’re at and helps them grow in ways that ripple into school, home, and life. Whether they’re full of energy or still finding their voice, we help them feel strong, grounded, and capable — and that changes everything.

If your child has a membership, you can add just $20 to access four sessions in our recovery room — including infrared sauna, ice baths, compression therapy, and oxygen therapy. You can use these anytime the gym’s open or while your child is training. A little reset time for you, too.

Highly recommend Rolling Fitness BJJ for who is seeking a place for your child to learn BJJ. Beyond all the benefits the BJJ brings, Ronaldo and his tem has an amazing environment, super professional, welcoming, fun and safe. My child is progressing really quickly and we can see this daily! Thanks Rolling Fitness

The moment I walked in I knew it was going to be a positive, encouraging and fun environment to be in. Professor Ronaldo is a great role model for all, my little family has been very lucky to have him as our mentor. He has consistently taken extra time in and out of his schedule to help us improve. The other members have been very welcoming too, if you’re after a genuine BJJ gym, we highly recommend!

Ronaldo and others who work at/for Rolling Fitness are so welcoming and friendly!!
Me and my family tried out a different BJJ gym and it had nothing on Rolling Fitness. The atmosphere and vibe of this place is amazing! If I ever come across anyone wanting to try BJJ, I will definitely be recommending this place. Ronaldo truly goes above and beyond with the adults and the kids. He has been very helpful and patient with me as a beginner and really takes the time to help people learn and to connect on a deeper level.

Your child can attend all sessions for their age group during the trial week, plus you’re invited to join our special Parents & Kids class on Saturday. It’s a great way to see what we’re about and connect as a family.
That’s awesome! You can purchase a membership either through the Momence app or directly at the counter. The Foundation Membership is currently $35 per week.
At sign-up, you’ll also have the option to order a Gi and No-Gi set (our gym’s uniform). If your child continues training, they’ll need our gym’s Gi for gradings and events.
There’s also an optional $20/week add-on for parents — giving you four full sessions in our Recovery Room, which includes the infrared sauna, ice baths, compression therapy, and oxygen therapy. It’s the perfect reset while your child trains or any time the gym is open.
If they have a gi or no-gi set, bring it along. If not — no stress. Comfortable activewear is totally fine as long as:
No buttons or zips
Preferably no pockets on the pants
A snug fit (so nothing gets caught or tangled)
Yes, absolutely — there’s plenty of space for parents to sit and watch. In fact, we encourage it. When you stay and observe, you get to understand what your child is learning and how you can support it at home.
There’s so much value in being part of the process — from the discipline and focus they develop on the mats, to the way it shows up in their behaviour, helpfulness, and confidence at home. It’s all connected, and when parents are involved, the impact goes even deeper.
Yes! All kids train together in age-appropriate classes. We create a welcoming, inclusive environment for everyone, and make sure each child is paired with a partner that suits their level and confidence.
Absolutely. New kids are paired with more experienced students who help guide them through the basics. Classes move at a pace that’s comfortable and safe, with coaches closely supporting the group.
No shoes on the mat, please. But they do need to wear shoes when going to the bathroom — so make sure they’ve got something easy to slip on and off.
Please make sure your child arrives on time for class so we can start with the group warm-up and they don’t miss anything important.
We’re located in Newspaper Place, Maroochydore. When you turn into Newspaper Place, take the second driveway on the right-hand side (just behind Green Tech).
Drive all the way down to the end of the car park — you’ll see the Rolling Fitness gym right at the end. Look out for the mats, the energy, and the smiling faces — you’ll know you’re in the right spot!
